Grandmamma and granddaddy came to visit this weekend. They came late Friday night when Ford was asleep, so they didn’t get to see him until Saturday morning. When he woke up on Saturday, grandmamma wanted to be the one that got him. She rocked him and he snuggled his head on her shoulder. It was the sweetest thing! He doesn’t do this much anymore not that he is older. Then, we went to Dutch Monkey for breakfast and Five Guys for lunch with Aunt Melissa, Uncle John, Cousin Claire and Samuel. Samuel and Ford dressed alike in their outfits that grandmamma and granddaddy gave them for Christmas. They looked so cute! This was the first time that Ford sat in a high chair at a restaurant. He liked seeing everything sitting up and tried to get Samuel’s sippy cup! Then, grandmamma bought Ford his first Elmo. Ford’s face lit up so bright when he saw it and he immediately started to smile and laugh. It was a great weekend and Ford had the most fun. We were sad to see them go!
